Bandung-Cianjur Liaison Road Can Again Be Passed By Vehicles But Change
JAKARTA - The Bandung-Cianjur connecting road, in Naringgul District, Cianjur, which was cut off due to landslides, can be passed by small vehicles even in one direction and alternately. It was all thanks to heavy equipment from the Ministry of PUPR PPK 2.5 West Java, working for 12 hours.
Kapolsek Naringgul, AKP Badru Salam said, after being cut off for 12 hours, the main route connecting Naringgul and Ciwidey-Bandung, can be passed by four-wheeled vehicles except for large trucks because the process of cleaning up landslide materials is still ongoing.
"Wednesday afternoon, various types of vehicles except for fuso trucks or the like can pass back alternately because the cleaning process is still carried out by one heavy equipment from the ministry and two units of truck dumb," he said, Wednesday, November 16, quoted by Antara.
He asked road users to remain vigilant and extra careful when crossing because the slippery road runway still has a lot of mud and subsequent landslides can occur at any time because the rainfall that falls is still high, especially in the evening until the evening.
Head of Field Supervisory of the Ministry of PUPR PPK 2.5 West Java, Heri Kuswera, said heavy equipment had to work extra because of the length and height of avalanche material that closed the national road runway in Ciuja Village, Sukabakti Village, Naringgul District, connecting Bandung-Cianjur.
"Heavy equipment immediately works until Wednesday afternoon, so that the traffic flow that has been stuck for 12 hours can pass alternately because the process of cleaning up landslide materials is still ongoing. It is targeted that Wednesday evening can be passed normally," he said.
His party will make temporary efforts to handle cliffs that have landslided three times over the past month, the installation of bamboo stakes and retaining gabions will be carried out at landslide locations, as an effort to anticipate further landslides not to close the road runway.
Previously, joint officers tried to reopen the main road connecting Bandung-Cianjur, West Java in Naringgul District, which was covered by landslides as high as five meters, using manual tools while waiting for heavy equipment from the Ministry of PUPR PPK 2.5, Tuesday night.
