American President Joe Biden Affairs Up The Stairs While On His Way To The Second Day Of The G20 Bali Summit

JAKARTA - The President of the United States (US), Joe Biden, slipped while entering the lower area of the Ngurah Rai Grand Forest Park (Tahura) pavilion, Denpasar, Bali.

The incident occurred when Biden was about to carry out activities on the second day of the Bali G20 Summit. Biden and the leaders of the G20 countries are scheduled to plant mangroves and see the mangrove forest conservation process in Indonesia via Tahura.

Biden arrived in Tahura in a Cadillac armored presidential car nicknamed "The Beast" on Wednesday, November 16 morning.

Several members of the US presidential special security force aka Secret Service surrounded The Beast when Biden's vehicle stopped.

After a few minutes, based on an Antara report, Biden just got off the vehicle and was greeted directly by President Joko Widodo not far from the point where the vehicle stopped.

Jokowi immediately welcomed Biden's hand and the two briefly spoke in the Wantilan, which is a waiting and relaxing area for state guests in Tahura.

Biden, who followed Jokowi on the steps to get to the main area of the Wantilan, had stumbled. However, Jokowi swiftly grabbed Biden's hand so that the US president would not fall.

At that time Biden wore a navy blue suit, light blue shirt, and sunglasses. Meanwhile, another state guest wore a collared white long-sleeved shirt complete with the G20 Indonesia logo.

However, upon arrival in the Wantilan, Biden took off his suit and sat with other state guests, one of whom was the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Schachez.

Not long after Biden arrived at the scene, which was followed by guests from other countries, including French President Emmanuel Macron and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the event began.

The state guests walked along a wooden bridge in the mangrove forest area while hearing an explanation of the mangrove conservation in Tahura Ngurai Rai Bali.
