Moeldoko Said, Electric Vehicles Will Have A Positive Impact On The People In The Future
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO) Moeldoko hopes that the presence of electric vehicles (EVs) can have a positive impact on the Indonesian people in the future.
"I hope that the presence of electric vehicles can be a new thing that can have many positive impacts on the people of Indonesia," said Moeldoko, quoted from a press statement from the Directorate General of Land Transportation, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 16.
Furthermore, he said this was in line with Indonesia, which supports the energy transition by making various policy changes that have been set.
In addition, the environment is a global issue that is one of the priorities for the 2022 G20 Presidency which will be held in Bali.
Supporting this program, the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) held the 2022 Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Exhibition (PKBLBB) as an effort to transition energy in reducing carbon emissions in Indonesia.
Through the 2022 PKBLBB, the Ministry of Transportation wants to campaign for electric vehicles among the general public. The 2022 PKBLBB is a means of cooperation between the government, academics, the community, and the private sector to collaborate in realizing the energy transition.
The 2022 PKBLBB is a means for the community to be able to experience product innovations from various brands that also enliven the event. People can try various electric vehicles through test ride and test drive programs.
Not only that, there are other programs such as entertainment, showcase, talk show and informative seminars, so that this exhibition is able to answer various problems before using electric vehicles.
The presence of conversion vehicles also shows that the world of modification continues to develop and the creativity of modifiers can be poured into electric vehicles, and benefit from converting their vehicles.
The PKBLBB is held to date (16/11) at Art Bali, Bali Collection, Nusa Dua Bali and is attended by 28 exhibitors consisting of electric motorcycles, electric cars, electric buses, electric trucks, conversion vehicles and components supporting battery-based electric vehicles.
Not only holding exhibitions every day, talk shows, test rides and test drives are also held, study showcases, community showcases and entertainment.
The event was also attended by players in the electric vehicle industry, related agencies and was publicly attended by delegates from participating countries at the G20 Summit.
This exhibition opens at 10.00-21.00 WITA and is open to public visitors for free.
