The Role Of Sri Asih, Pevita Pearce Do 90 Percent Of The Self Action Scene

JAKARTA - Pevita Pearce is back after two years through the film Sri Asih. This second film from the cinematic universe of Bumilangit features itself as Indonesia's first female superhero.

Three years of waiting, finally Sri Asih can be released to the public. Sri Asih's production struggle was admitted by Pevita, which was very large, starting from the pandemic period, she had tested positive for COVID-19, until the delay was broadcast.

"It's enough to challenge the shooting of action during a pandemic. When on set we brought performance between crew there were no difficulties even though filming was in the midst of a pandemic but there were no obstacles," said Pevita Pearce on Tuesday, November 15 in Jakarta.

"Maybe one that made an impression and a little for me to regret, namely when shooting fighting, I had to isolate myself because I got Covid-19 and was quite sad. Because it was still early filming and I was comfortable," he said.

The 30-year-old actress is also preparing her body condition for the role of Sri Asih. The reason is that in this film, she will play a fighter who is subscribed to become a champion on the field.

90% of the fighting scene was done by myself because I was given a long time to prepare and from there I also wanted to perform. It's a very, very unforgettable experience," continued Pevita.

Sri Asih's character makes her learn many things from film. She also doesn't want to be compared to other female superhero characters.

"I don't want to compare with anyone but with me playing the character Alana, this is very life singing and opens up many new perspectives," he said.

Pevita Pearce plays Alana, a woman who can't control her emotions. At one point, Alana realized that she had something that made her not an ordinary woman.

Pevita Pearce's action can be seen through the film Sri Asih which airs on Thursday, November 17 in Indonesian cinemas.
