Examining The Anomalies In The Shooting Of The FPI Laskar

JAKARTA - Early Monday, December 7, 6 members of the FPI Laskar members were shot dead by the police that day. The police also held a press conference explaining the chronology of the shooting of the FPI Laskar. However, after some time, the chronology of the police was denied by FPI, which then released their version of the chronology. Based on this, we tried to test the discrepancies in the shooting of the FPI Laskar.

We are looking for important information, visiting several locations of the shooting tragedy, particularly in the KM 50 rest area of the Jakarta Cikampek toll road. It was here that the Cikampek shootout took place. This rest area is near the exit gate of the East Karawang Toll. The KM 50 rest area was the witness of the shooting of the FPI paramilitary troops.

Early Wednesday, December 9, at around 00.10 WIB, we arrived at the KM 50 rest area of the Jakarta Cikampek toll road. We deliberately chose the same hour as the police shooting incident against the FPI laskar.

If we refer to various information and chronology that we found early Wednesday morning, there are at least a number of important things to highlight, namely; damaged tires, no gunshots in the KM 50 rest area, FPI's sharp weapons were seen, there were no bodies of FPI troops, and there was no recording of the shooting incident of FPI's army.

Surprisingly, when we were looking for witnesses of the shooting around the KM 50 rest area, they seemed to have similar answers to our questions. However, finally we met someone whose identity we deliberately kept secret to tell what happened in the KM 50 rest area when the shooting of the FPI troops occurred.
