Investigators from the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit admitted that it was difficult to examine the suspect in the theft at Pagi Market, Roa Malaka, Tambora, West Jakarta. This is because the perpetrator is a deaf person, namely JS (46) aka gagu.

Tambora Police Chief Kompol Putra Pratama explained that his party was still examining JS's statement, a specialist in shop theft. Due to difficulty speaking, a way of communicating with the perpetrators was found, namely using a stationery.

Kompol Putra also explained that the results of the examination stated that the perpetrator JS had admitted his actions. JS said, continued Putra, he was desperate to steal because he was hit by the economy.

"He was desperate to commit theft due to economic factors. The perpetrators were desperate to commit acts of theft to meet the needs of daily life," he said.

Furthermore, JS is known to often change residences. Putra said, this was done so that the perpetrator's movements were not known by police officers when they finished stealing.

"The perpetrator stopped at each station and always moved. The station where the perpetrator stopped, namely Tanjung Priok Station, Duri Station, Kota Station, Senen Station and Gambir Station," he said.

Currently, the perpetrator JS is already in the detention cell of the Tambora Police to redeem his evil act. Suspect JS was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 7 years in prison.

Previously, it was reported that a man with the initials JS alias gagu (46) was arrested by the Tambora Police Criminal Investigation Unit for stealing at Pasar Pagi, Roa Malaka, Tambora, West Jakarta.

The man, a resident of Babakan Empang Hamlet, Karawang, committed theft at a fireworks shop. The perpetrator's action was caught on CCTV cameras while stealing at the shop belonging to the victim Ayung.
