Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria's PCR COVID-19 swab test results showed positive for COVID-19 as of Friday, November 27. The news of Riza's positive confirmation just broke out on Sunday, November 29th. At that time, Riza immediately went into independent isolation for 14 days.

"Alhamdulillah, although the test results on Friday showed positive for COVID-19, my condition is still in good condition and under control," said Riza in a written statement, Sunday, November 29.

Riza admitted, based on the results of the contact tracing of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, he was confirmed positive for COVID-19 because he contracted it from his personal staff who previously contracted it from the staff's family environment.
