Morocco's National Team Squad For The 2022 World Cup: Hakim Ziyech Pension Battalion, Wonderkid Barcelonaboyong
JAKARTA - The Morocco national team has released a list of names of players who will be brought to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on November 20. From that name, Judge Ziyech to wonderkid Barcelona were also brought in.
On the decision of coach Walid Regragui to include Ziyech, it means that the Chelsea midfielder has canceled his retirement from the Morocco national team. Because in February Ziyech had announced his retirement from the Atlas Lion team.
Ziyech's decision was taken because of his relationship with the coach at the time, Vahid Halilhodzic was not good. However, last August, Valid was fired from the team and is now being replaced by Regragui who made Ziyech a choice.
Apart from Ziyech, Regragui also includes a wonderkid Barcelona, Abdessamad Ezzalzouli or often known as Ez Abde. The 20-year-old player is currently on loan at Osasuna.
The election of Ez Abde, who plays the winger, was quite surprising, because he had previously made controversial decisions regarding his attitude towards the Morocco national team. Ez Abde refused to participate in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations when the Morocco national team was still being cared for by Halilhodzic.
Ez Abde even admitted that he wanted to play for Barcelona more than the Morocco national team at that time. In addition, Regragui also carried the names of famous players who played in Europe's top clubs.
For example Yassine Bono is predicted to be Morocco's main goalkeeper. Bono is the goalkeeper who plays for Spanish League giant Sevilla.
The following is a list of the Morocco squad squad for the 2022 World Cup:
