Increase Digital Education Accessibility, Acer Provides Laptop Support To Schools In Bogor Regency
JAKARTA - Along with the development of digital technology, the need for technological devices in the field of education is very important. The use of technology can support the teaching and learning process between students and teachers.
As part of the company's social responsibility, Acer provides support in the form of an Acer laptop to Cipinang 03 State Elementary School, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency. This activity is held thanks to the collaboration with the Rotary Club of Jakarta Menteng (RCJM) which also has a similar vision to be able to continue to contribute in the advancement of the world of education in the country. This support is in line with the School Digitalization program from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to prepare human resources in welcoming the latest industrial revolution. One of the government's programs is the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) which is an assessment of school quality through online and digital systems. For this reason, quality technology devices are needed so that students can pass the assessment well. "Acer is committed to continuing to be a part of accelerating the development of education in Indonesia, including the accessibility of digital technology in it. As a form of the company's social responsibility, we want to be able to contribute to Indonesia through the assistance of technology devices to the world of education," said Hermet Ang, President Director of Acer Indonesia, in a written statement, Friday 11 November. By utilizing technological devices, it is hoped that the ongoing teaching learning process can be more interactive and quality.
"We are grateful to Acer for providing support for Acer's laptop technology equipment to our school. We are sure that these laptops will be very helpful in teaching and learning activities, including those that we will use for the upcoming Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) process," said Suwarna, M. Pd, Principal of SDN Cipinang 03 Rumpin District.
Acer hopes that the support of this technological device can be part of the digital transformation process of education in Indonesia, as well as a teaching and learning stimulus to produce the best graduates who are ready to face the future. The younger generation is a very important part in determining the progress of the nation.
