Lewandowski Optimism After Achieving The European Golden Boot 2022

JAKARTA - Robert Lewandowski smiled and was positive when he received the 2022 European Golden Boot award at a ceremony at Barcelona. This award is the second for Lewandowski throughout his career.

The former Bayern Munich striker talks about Barcelona's current condition and predicts that they will see an increase next year.

After being given the trophy, the Polish international spoke of life at his new club and his optimism for the future.

Entering the World Cup break, his new team is at the top of La Liga, but was knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage.

"I'm sure next year will be really good," Lewandowski was quoted as saying by Marca, Thursday.

"Now I know why Barcelona is more than a club and is very important.

"We are on the right track, what happened yesterday [the comeback win at Osasuna] is good, this match shows our desire to win."
