JAKARTA - Mexican boxer Saul "Canelo" Alvarez distributed photos on his Instagram story where he hopes Aidos Yerbossynuly recovers quickly after being brutally boarding by Cuban boxer David Morrell.
In his message, the Mexican wrote: "You're in my brother".
According to ESPN journalist Dan Rafael, after the fight that was held on Saturday night, the 30-year-old fighter was treated at the Hennepin District medical center in Minneapolis.
Research conducted on Yerbossynuly showed he had a brain hemorrhage. So, the Kazakh boxer underwent emergency surgery and the doctor decided to put him in a coma to avoid further brain damage.

The unfortunate events occurred in the last round of the fight held in Armory. The Cuban fighter punished Yerbossynuly for 12 rounds and knocked him down several times.
In the last round, he took a hard hit in the jaw and fell to the canvas. Soon, the referee stopped the fight.
After KO, Yerbossynuly struggled to get back in the corner. Her opponents even helped her stand up and walk, in dramatic scenes that went viral on social media.
However, promoter Yerbossynuly shared a statement on the social network in which she assured the boxing world that the fighter was in good health.
"The doctor said he was in normal condition and we are sure he will recover soon. According to the doctor, no one threatens his life and he will be monitored for two weeks."
Yerbossynuly, 30, is a leading fighter in his country, he became Canelo's partner for his third fight against Gennady Golovkin last September in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Yerbossynuly came into the fight against Morrell with a very honorable, unbeaten record in 16 fights, with 11 knockouts.
