The Adonara NTT Island Hospital, Which Was Built In 2018 With A Budget Of IDR 36.8 Billion, Has Not Been Operational Due To The Presence Of Medical Equipment
NTT - Pratama Adonara Hospital (RS) was completed in 2018. However, until now the hospital on Adonara Island, East Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has not been operating due to the absence of medical equipment (alkes).
"The reason for not operating is because of the absence of medical devices. Because the budget for the procurement of medical devices reaches Rp. 25 billion," said East Flores Regentko Alexander Rihi in Adonara, East Flores, NTT, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 9.
The hospital is the only one on Adonara Island. The health facility was built by the government to help people on Adonara Island get treatment without having to travel long distances to the RSUD in Larantuka City.
In addition to residents on Adonara Island, the hospital is to serve the people on the East Solor Island.
The Pratama Hospital was built in 2012 and completed in 2018. It is located in Saosina Village, East Adonara District.
Currently, all the buildings from Adonara Hospital have been completed. Starting from the emergency room, polyclinic, inpatient room, pharmacy room and kitchen.
The budget or cost for the construction of the Pratama Hospital building itself reached Rp36.8 billion, sourced from APBN funds and also APBD.
ir said that regarding the budget problem, he had written and reported it to the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, but until now there is no certainty.
"There is no certainty until now when it will start operating, because there is no budget yet.
Meanwhile, the Head of the East Flores Health Office, Dr. Agustinus Ogie Silimalar, said that basically his party had prepared human resources for health workers.
"All health workers are ready, including four doctors. Just waiting for the operation of the Adonara Hospital," he concluded.
