Bali's G20 Summit Will Be A World Highlight! A Total Of 2,133 Journalists From 435 National And International Media Present Cover
JAKARTA The National Committee for the G20 Presidency of Indonesia has completed the accreditas process for thousands of journalists to be able to officially cover the G20 Summit this month in Bali.
Director General of Information and Public Communication (IKP) Kominfo Usman Kansong said the number of journalists participating consisted of domestic and foreign media.
The number of accredited journalists reached 2,133 people. Of that number, 2,051 journalists confirmed that they would be present in person in Bali. Meanwhile, 82 other journalists stated that they would cover virtually," he said via online channel on Wednesday, November 9.
Usman added that the thousands of reporters came from 435 media companies with details of 364 international media and 71 national media.
Furthermore, he explained that currently the committee has closed the coverage registration and has no longer received further registration.
"The last registration was on October 15, 2022 ago," he said.
Usman also said that the committee would focus on the media center provided by the committee at the Bali International Convention Center.
"Later we will prepare personal computers (PC), working space, press conference rooms, then media booths and several other facilities," he added.
