Corona Virus Casualties In China Rise To 132 People

JAKARTA - China's health authorities have confirmed that the number of victims who died from the corona virus (2019-nCoV / Wuhan Flu) has again increased. Now the total death toll from the corona virus is 132 people. Most of the patients who died were over 60 years of age and had a previous unfavorable condition.

According to reports, as of Wednesday January 29, there were 840 newly confirmed cases in Hubei Province, where the outbreak was found. Thus, the number of corona virus cases in China reached 5,974 cases. This number is said to exceed the number of SARS cases in China in 2002-2003.

Quoted from the South China Morning Post, the Tibetan autonomous authorities have also reported suspected cases of the corona virus. If tested positive, it will be Tibet's first case and means the virus has spread across China.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab have also discussed the corona virus. According to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement, Foreign Minister Raab praised China's steps to fight the corona virus outbreak.

In addition, Foreign Minister Raab also said that Britain was willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with China, and would try its best to supply the medical equipment China needed. The British government plans to evacuate its nationals from Hubei Province and fly them to the UK on Thursday 30 January 2020.

Not only Britain, other countries such as South Korea (South Korea), Germany, Spain and India are also considering the evacuation of their citizens who are in Wuhan, a city isolated by the Chinese Government since Thursday, January 23, 2020. Japan and the United States have evacuated by sending plane to Wuhan since Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha promised to donate medical supplies to help fight the coronavirus. Foreign Minister Kyung-wha promised his country's cooperation with China to suppress the outbreak.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi also vowed to ensure the health and safety of all foreign nationals in China. South Korea itself has reported four confirmed cases of the corona virus.

"Neighbors who are facing difficulties must support and help each other," South Korea's Foreign Minister told Foreign Minister Wang Yi by phone, according to a Chinese Foreign Ministry report.
