"Especially for Surabaya, we appreciate all the people of Surabaya who appreciate the work of the previous Mayor and are proven to have a strong fighting spirit as inspired by heroism. We also believe that the people of Surabaya have a strong historical attachment to Bung Karno who was born in that city. "he said.

"So, when surrounded by the power of political parties, coupled with the massive politics and divide et impera politics, the citizens of Surabaya actually showed their true identity by choosing Eri-Armudji," added Hasto.

Furthermore, Eri-Armuji's victory also shows how the people of Surabaya want the leadership and programs that Risma has worked on to continue even though the reins of leadership have changed.
