Exports Of Non-Oil And Gas Commodities Passing Through Samarinda Port Reached Rp107.7 Trillion In January-September 2022
JAKARTA - Exports of various non-oil and gas commodities published through the Port of Samarinda, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), for the January - September 2022 period reached 7.18 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp107.7 trillion."The non-oil and gas commodity exported from Samarinda Port contributed 26.98 percent of the total non-oil and gas exports of East Kalimantan worth 26.62 billion US dollars," said Head of the Central Statistics Agency of East Kalimantan Province Yusniar Juliana in Samarinda, quoted from Antara, Monday, November 7.The non-oil and gas export commodities published through Samarinda Port have increased by 78.22 percent, compared to the January - September 2021 period which was recorded at 4.03 billion US dollars.The second most non-oil and gas loading port is Balikpapan Port with a value of 5.8 billion dollars, or 21.78 percent of East Kalimantan's total non-oil and gas exports for the January - September 2022 period.The loading of this commodity has increased by 65.50 percent, compared to January - September the previous year which was recorded at 3.54 billion dollars.Being in the third most position is Tanjung Bara Port in East Kutai Regency with a value of 4.71 billion US dollars, or with a contribution of 17.70 percent to the total non-oil and gas exports of East Kalimantan for the period January - September 2022.The non-oil and gas export commodities published from Tanjung Bara Port increased by 79.45 percent, when compared to those published in the January - September 2021 period with a value of 2.62 billion dollars."Of all ports in regencies/cities in East Kalimantan that contain non-oil and gas commodities for export, there are five ports with high value, namely in Samarinda, Balikpapan, East Kutai, Bontang, and Berau Regency with a total of 24.42 billion dollars," he said.Meanwhile, for the total number of ports in the January - September 2022 period reached 26.62 billion dollars, there was an increase of 66.49 percent compared to the same period the previous year which was valued at 15.99 billion US dollars.
