The Israeli Village Said Ahead Of The Duel Against Alex Pereira: I Want To Make This A Horror Film
JAKARTA - Israel Asuranya will risk its middleweight title against Alex Pereira in the UFC 281 which will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York on 12 November.
The village will face one of the toughest tests of its UFC career. However, 'The Last Stylender' asserted, the fight had to be treated like a horror film.
In his kickboxing career, Brazilian fighter Pereira won twice over Asura in 2017, with KO.
However, this duel is different for the two fighters who will enter the octagon in good condition where the village is still unbeaten in the 185 pound category since entering the UFC.
Due to his superior abilities in MMA compared to kickboxing, the Nigerian star vowed to be his opponent's worst dream.
"I want to make this a horror film," he told TMZ Sports when judging by his upcoming fight with Pereira.
"I wanted to be the first person he saw when he woke up. I wanted to make sure that I was right on his line of sight so he saw me.
"Even though I think I survive differently, my opponent attacks differently. Sometimes it's a little stupid. I don't mean to disrespect kickboxing.
"I always feel like my stroke is more suitable for MMA, not only for the size of his gloves but also for the way, freedom of attack, I can seize someone and bring them down."
"I can come along, things like that and I know he's good at things like that too but I've been doing this longer."
