Have 192,234 MSMEs, Lampung Strengthen Digitalization To Extend Market Access

Lampung Governor Arinal Djunaidi said digitalization was able to expand access to local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in his area.

"MSMEs must continue to move, innovate, be meaningful, and be creative in running their business," said Arinal Djunaidi, quoted by Antara, Sunday, November 6.

He said, to complete everything, it is also necessary to re-increase digitalization in the MSME sector, in order to continue to increase the growth of MSMEs so that they can be faster.

"Local governments continue to strive to advance MSMEs through various priority programs such as expanding market access through digitization. This is important because online local products can be promoted to outside the region, then there is also an increase in the capacity of human resources in the field of MSMEs or cooperatives," he added.

Furthermore, there is also facilitating financing for MSMEs, coaching, assisting MSMEs to promote their products and expand information technology-based business networks and collaborate with various digital platforms in marketing local MSME products.

One of the development of MSMEs through the digitization of MSMEs is expected to be carried out by the Regent and Mayor. So that it will be an effort to revive the economy through the MSME sector," he said.

He continued, in addition to the rapid development of the MSME sector, it will also increase regional investment, the creative economy to create new jobs that support the welfare of the community at large.

It is known that in Lampung Province, the development of the MSME sector and Cooperatives covering 192,234 units of MSMEs were recorded, consisting of micro-enterprises 182,655 units, small businesses as many as 9,303 units and medium-sized businesses as many as 276 units.
