Apple Looks Like Implementing Backlit Logo In The Latest Generation MacBook
JAKARTA - Apple is expected to restore the glowing Apple logo or iconic backlith on the future MacBook model, if the newly issued patents can be realized.
It is known, Apple hasn't installed a backlith logo on its MacBook since 2015. Apple's famous logo lit up, aka the backlit version, was once quite a unique sight everywhere.
But now Apple fans can no longer see it since the company selected a new logo design. The bright white logo was replaced with a dark logo.
However, the backlit version may return after a new patent appears in the United States (US) Patent and Trademark Office database.
The patent name may not provide a lot of information, "Electronic Devices With a partially Bright Mirror Structure" but the goal is clear that Apple will bring the backlit logo back.
In the patent, Apple says that the laptop house will be equipped with a logo or other structure on the device that can be equipped with a partially reflective mirror with a backlight.
Launching MacRumors, Saturday, November 5, the first Mac laptop with the Apple logo on is the third generation G3 PowerBook launched in 1999, and the backbone symbol has proven to be a mainstay through Apple's notebooks in a row over the next 16 years.
The only change in that period was that the logo was reversed upwards, so it no longer looks reversed when the user opens the laptop.
And starting in 2015, Apple removed the backlith logo from its laptop on a 12-inch MacBook, which has a dipoles metal logo, as seen on the iPad.
In 2016, the new generation of MacBook Pro models continued the logo trend without a backlit, and Apple has not launched a Mac laptop with a glowing logo since.
Keep in mind, patents don't always turn into products. Apple patents almost everything the engineers make, but there's nothing wrong with hoping the company will bring back the backlith logo again.
