KY Announces 6 Candidates For Ad Hoc HAM Judges Graduate Quality Selection, Subsequent Stages Of Health And Excise

The Judicial Commission (KY) announced the names of six candidates for ad hoc judges for human rights (HAM) at the Supreme Court in 2022/2023 who were declared to have passed the quality selection."The Judicial Commission, based on the plenary meeting of the Judicial Commission on November 4, 2022, announced the names of candidates for judges ad hoc human rights at the Supreme Court who passed the following quality selection," said Chief Justice Siti Nurdjanah, at a press conference in Jakarta as reported by Antara, Friday, November 4.The six candidates for ad hoc HAM judges at the Supreme Court were lawyers at the Advocates' Office and Legal Consultant Erni Darmawangsa, namely Erni Rahmawati, a member of the Indonesian National Police Harnoto, and a lawyer at the Heppy Wajongkere and Partners Law Firm Heppy Wajongkere.Next, former ad hoc judge of corruption at the Jakarta Lafat Akbar High Court, former ad hoc judge of corruption at the Banda Aceh District Court M. Fatan Riyadhi, and former ad hoc judge of corruption at the Palangkaraya District Court, Ukar Priyambodo.Siti said that the names who passed were entitled to participate in the health and personality selection in the third and fourth weeks of November 2022."Prospective ad hoc human rights judges who passed the quality selection, but did not participate in the health and personality selection, were declared null and void. We ask the selection participants to ignore those who promise to form success/civility in the selection process," he added.The announcement was stated in Letter Number 14/PENG/PIM/RH.04.03/11/2022 concerning the Quality Selection Results of Candidates for Ad Hoc Judges for Human Rights at the Indonesian Supreme Court in 2022/2023.On the same occasion, Siti said that the Judicial Commission appealed to all Indonesian people to be able to provide written information regarding the track records of prospective ad hoc HAM judges at the Supreme Court who passed the quality selection."People with clear identities can provide information or written opinions about track records, including integrity, capacity, behavior, and character of the candidates for Supreme Court justices," he said.The information or opinion, said Siti, can be received by the selection team no later than December 16, 2022, through the address of the recruitment electronic letter @komisiyudisial.go.id.Apart from electronic mail, the public can also send information or opinions in writing to the Selection Secretariat Team for Candidates for Supreme Court Justices and Ad Hoc HAM Judges at the Indonesian Judicial Commission Office on Jalan Kramat Raya, Number 57, Central Jakarta.The same applies to candidates for Supreme Court justices who have passed the quality selection. Previously, Siti had conveyed the names of 29 candidates for Supreme Court justices who passed the quality selection stage.
