Cases Of Child Murder In Economic Motive Depok, The Perpetrator Is A Drug Recidivist Who Is Still Actively Using Methamphetamine
DEPOK Depok Metro Police Chief, Kombes Imran Edwin Siregar said the motive for the murder of RNA (30) alias Kiki, in the Jatijajar Cluster, Tapos, Depok, was based on economic factors. Perpetrators who work as casual daily employees are unable to meet their daily needs so that fights often occur.
"The economic needs are not sufficient, plus the perpetrators are suspected of consuming methamphetamine often, this is corroborated by the discovery of two plastic clusterings in the mosque's ablution area around the perpetrator's house," he said.
Not only that, Kiki is a recidivist in a drug abuse case. Kombes Imran confirmed that the perpetrator had been caught in a drug case.
Based on the data collected, the perpetrator is a detainee from the Kebayoran Lama Police in April 2022. However, the perpetrators were rehabilitated.
"He was detained in a drug case," said an impression at the Depok Metro Police, Wednesday, November 2.
Information about the perpetrators still intersecting with drugs is reinforced by the words of residents around the scene of the murder.
Roy Ali, a security officer at RW 007, the crime scene (TKP), said that plastic clips had been found to wrap methamphetamine around the mosque. The illicit goods were allegedly thrown away by the perpetrators before performing the dawn prayer.
"He was praying at the mosque and then throwing methamphetamine near the mosque," Roy said when met at the location, Wednesday, November 2.
RNA alias Kiki is a suspect in the murder case of her biological child, KP (11) and the persecution of his wife, NI (31) in the Pondok Jatijajar Cluster, Tapos, Depok, Tuesday, November 2. He is suspected of Article 338 of the Criminal Code and or Article 44 paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia number 23 of 2004 which carries a penalty of 15 years in prison.
