Brigadier General Hendro Pandowo was born on January 12, 1969 in Malang, East Java. Brigadier General Hendro is an alumnus of the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1991, in the same class as the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

Hendro Pandowo also received further education after graduating from the Police Academy, including: PTIK in 1998, SESPIM I in 2007, and LEMHANNAS in 2016. In 2007, he graduated from the Graduate School of the University of Indonesia.

Hendro Pandowo is a high-ranking National Police officer who currently holds the rank of one-star or Brigadier General. He currently holds the position of Deputy Chief of Police for Metro Jaya for two years, namely since March 2020 replacing Wahyu Hadiningrat. After graduating from the Police Academy in 1991, Hendro Pandowo served in the detective unit. He is in charge of finding confidential information.
