Menohok Sandiaga's Message For Young Children: Don't Be An Entrepreneur Because Of Layoffs

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno told how the failures he had experienced in the past made him even stronger.

Sandi admitted that he had suffered a big loss in an investment. However, he said, if you want to be successful, you must dare to fail.

"I told you about my failure to remind myself and young people, don't give up easily because failure is a step towards success," said Sandiaga, Wednesday, November 2.

In a YouTube video entitled "Sandiaga Uno pt. 2 - SO AGENT CHANGE, NOT KAUM REBAHAN", Sandi, who is also a businessman, understands that millennials only survive in one company for a maximum of one year and the rest or 55 percent of them want to become entrepreneurs.

Sandi also advised young people not to become entrepreneurs to have to wait for layoffs first, but to prepare carefully, learn a lot at startups, after they are ready, then start their own business.

For Sandi, there is no better time to start a business unless it is done at this time. Mentorship is an important thing that must be done in becoming an entrepreneur. One way to get mentors is to join the community, for example HIPMI.

In addition, Sandiaga also mentioned which business will continue to grow. According to him, the food or culinary business is a business that will always grow and develop. But the most important thing about all of this is innovation, and building a business network.
