PSSI Chairman Iwan Bule Titip Pesan Untuk Shin Tae-yong: Jangan Cepat Tinggalkan Timnas

JAKARTA - PSSI General Chair (Ketum) Mochamad Iriawan acknowledged his close relationship with the head coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong. He even considered the South Korean coach to be like his own brother.

"I already think of him (Shin Tae-ying) my younger brother. We are close," said Iriawan in the Close The Door Podcast, which was uploaded on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube account, quoted on Wednesday, November 2.

Set in a close relationship with Iwan Bule, then Shin Tae-yong also conveyed his statement that he would resign if Iwan Bule chose to leave his position. Later, the former West Java Police Chief was indeed asked to resign from his post-Trage position in Kanjuruhan Malang.

However, Iwan Bule did not want Shin to leave the Indonesian national team quickly. Iriawan hopes that the former South Korean national team coach will remain silent in order to improve the achievements of the Garuda squad at the senior and at the age level.

"You don't have to back down, children feel sorry. Wanting the U-20 World Cup (2023), achievements are awaited by the public. Let me be, coach Shin let me continue to work with our national team to train," said the chairman of PSSI.

"For Shin, don't leave the national team quickly," asked Iwan Bule.

PSSI itself has planned to hold an Extraordinary Congress (KLB) sooner. The agenda is scheduled for March 2023 to select a new board.

Meanwhile, Shin Tae-yong is still under contract with PSSI until December 2023. It is interesting to look forward to whether Shin really decided to resign if Iwan Bule finally stepped down from the PSSI chairman seat.
