Twitch Joins Guest Star Features, Can Law Five People For Broadcast

Twitch, a popular gaming platform in the world, announced a new feature for Twitch users to invite other users or viewers to broadcast together.

This feature, called Guest Star, allows you to bring up to five other Twitch users on stream, including the creator (streamer) or also the audience of your broadcast.

"This feature allows you to create a "guest slot" that you can set on OBS, and then quickly add or change Guests that appear in that slot directly on Twitch," Twitch wrote in an announcement shared on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the Guest Star feature is currently still in the Beta version, meaning some of the planned features are still in the development process.

During Beta, Twitch invites several hundred streamers to use it, test its core functionality, and provide feedback on how to make this tool great for the company.

"Creators who have access to Guest Star during the Beta phase are invited to use it as often as they want, and are welcome to talk about this tool with other creators or on social media," he explained.

Since the Guest Star is still in the Beta version, only certain broadcast software and web browsers are currently well supported. In addition, Guest Star is currently only available on Desktop.

To get the best experience with Guest Star while in the Beta version, you should use:

To start, join, or ask to join the Guest Star stream, you need to set up phone verification on your Twitch account.

If you don't set the phone verification on your Twitch account, you'll receive a guide to do so via settings before you can start or join the Guest Star stream.
