Use A Old Blue Jas, Jokowi Arrives At The Indo Defense Industry Exhibition 2022 Jakarta
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) arrived at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, November 2. The head of state attended the biggest defense industry exhibition in Southeast Asia, Indo Defense 2022 Expo & Forum.
Based on observations, Jokowi arrived at JIExpo at around 09.03 WIB wearing a dark blue suit.
Jokowi was seen accompanied by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. The opening ceremony of Indo Defense finally started by singing the national anthem "Indonesia Raya".
Then, continued with the reading of reports on the implementation of activities by Prabowo, and attractions to conquer terrorists carried out by the Special Forces Command (Kopassus).
On this occasion, it was also seen that several other parties attended the opening of the 2022 Indo Defense.
These include TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa, National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman, Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal TNI Fadjar Prasetyo, Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Yudo Margono, and 6th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Try Sutrisno.
Previously, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto admitted that 59 countries would be involved in the biggest defense industry exhibition in Southeast Asia, Indo Defense 2022 Expo & Forum on November 2-5, 2022.
"Broadly speaking, there are 905 defense industry companies from 59 countries, maybe 60 countries, we are still waiting for confirmation to attend," he said, Thursday, October 27, as reported by Antara.
According to Prabowo, of the 905 defense industries participating in the defense exhibition, 155 companies were domestic defense industries.
In addition to JIexpo Kemayoran, the Indo Defense 2022 Expo & Forum was held in two other locations in Jakarta simultaneously, namely the Pondok Rowing Naval Base, North Jakarta; and the South Apron Air Base (Lanud) of the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force, East Jakarta.
About 21 ministerial-level officials, commanders of the armed forces, and chiefs of staff of forces from various countries are also scheduled to attend.
