Reshuffle Of 638 Ministry Of Finance Officials, Sri Mulyani: This Is A Need To Stay Healthy And Synergistic

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati has officially inaugurated 638 officials within the Ministry of Finance. According to the Minister of Finance, the institution he leads must work to dedicate himself to Indonesia.

"Always give your best. That's a sincere way of loving you. Good job to all of you," said the state treasurer in a written statement quoted Wednesday, November 2.

The Minister of Finance added that the reshuffle of the top leadership at the Ministry of Finance involved a number of officials, ranging from transfers, promotions, and appointments to functional positions.

"This inauguration is also part of the organization's regular refresher, and also anticipates demands for the needs so that the Ministry of Finance organization is always healthy, synergistic and collaborative," he said.

Furthermore, he also conveyed that periodic efforts were needed to continue to refresh and at the same time to revitalize all units, by emphasizing aspects of integrity, synergy, collaboration so that we are alert to face challenges and toughness to continue to oversee recovery.

"You will all be seen by your performance in this term of office, whether it is in accordance with what was planned, so you are also asked to continue to improve your performance as proof that you are able to handle new responsibilities. So position is not a right, position is not a personal ownership, let alone public positions like this," he said.

For information, the Minister of Finance directly led the inauguration on Tuesday, November 1 with 3 mutations in the Middle High Leadership Position (echelon I), transfers/promotions between units involving 11 echelon I units and 2 non-echelon units, namely 39 echelon III officials, 79 echelon IV officials, and 3 non-echelon unit officials.

Then, there were internal mutations/promotions in echelon I units, respectively, as many as 321 echelon III officials and 52 echelon IV officials, as well as 108 transfers of Functional Intermediate Positions at the Directorate General of Taxes and 6 auditors at the Inspectorate General, and 27 appointments of Policy Analysts at BKF.

In his message, the Minister of Finance also stated that every leader must be able to manage state finances with a high level of trust from the community, able to always anticipate various changes, both in the domestic and global economy, both the challenges of state finances and economic challenges, both the challenges of technological change and human resource change.

"This is not a normal period. Therefore, I hope that all levels of the Ministry of Finance can dedicate themselves to carrying out their duties and responsibilities beyond normal functions," closed the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
