The Government CONTINUES To Strengthen Pre-Employment Card Program Governance

JAKARTA - The government continues to strengthen the governance of the Pre-Employment Card Program with the aim of increasing accountability and strengthening the legal provisions contained in this program.In a statement from the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, namely to socialize Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 113 of 2022 for Law Enforcement and Manpower Apparatus within the scope of East Java Province in Surabaya, on Sunday 27 October.Through this Presidential Regulation, it will emphasize and strengthen the provisions for taking action against potential violations of the law in the implementation of the Pre-Employment Card Program.Deputy for Coordination of the Digital Economy, Employment and MSMEs of the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy Rudy Salahuddin said that this program had carried out two improvements in governance, both carried out by internal and external, such as the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)."After almost three years of running, many evaluations and recommendations were received, so we made adjustments to the program again so that the implementation of the Pre-Employment Card Program was more accountable with the issuance of Presidential Decree Number 113 of 2022," said Deputy Rudy, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 2.On the same occasion, Assistant Deputy for Improvement of Manpower Productivity as Secretary of the Chairul Saleh Implementation Team said that this socialization is important and needs to be done to several regions as a joint effort to build, maintain, and succeed in the implementation of future programs.He explained that the socialization within the scope of East Java Province was the sixth socialization, which had previously been carried out in the provinces of Central Java, Lampung, South Sulawesi, Papua, and South Kalimantan.Meanwhile, the Directorate of Corruption Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Kombes Pol.
