Coordinating Police Hospital To Bareskrim About The Bodies Of 6 FPI Laskar, TNI Including One Panser Remain On Standby
JAKARTA - The Forensic Team of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, is still coordinating with the National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim) regarding the handling of the six bodies of FPI troops guarding Rizieq Shihab who were shot dead by the police.
"We are still intensively coordinating with Bareskrim. If it is related to developments, please confirm there," said Head of Forensics at the Police Hospital, Arif Wahyono, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 8.
However, Arif has not provided information on where the bodies are currently located and the extent of forensic handling of all bodies.
Meanwhile, the attorney for the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Aziz Yanuar, questioned the whereabouts of the victim's body, which according to police reports, had been sent to the National Police Hospital.
"Never mind taking it, not seeing it," he said when he visited the National Police Hospital at around 10:00 WIB.
Aziz said that so far it was not clear where the bodies of the victims were and the reason the relevant authorities were still holding the bodies of the six people.
"Yes, the reason is they have the power. It is not clear yet, the reasons and where the remains are also unclear. But the family representatives are ready (if the bodies can be brought)," he said.
Meanwhile, a number of officers in TNI AD uniforms along with an armored unit were still on standby around the parking lot of the Police Hospital Promoter Building.
Polda Metro Jaya officers shot six of Rizieq Shihab's followers for attacking the officer who was conducting an investigation.
"The MRS group that attacked the members took firm action and six people died," said the Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran at the Jakarta Police Headquarters.
Fadil explained that the incident occurred on Monday morning at around 00.30 WIB on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road KM 50 Karawang, West Java.
