South Tangerang Police Pursue Black Innova Containing 5 Kg of Crystal Methamphetamine

TANGERANG – Three drug dealers of methamphetamine have been arrested by the South Tangerang Narcotics Unit. The perpetrators, namely RW, HK, and MF, put methamphetamine into three packs of Chinese green tea with a total weight of 16 kilograms.

South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Sarly Sollu said the disclosure of this case began with the arrest of RW with 500 grams of crystal methamphetamine in Bekasi, West Java, Monday, October 3. Then, continued the Police Chief, it was developed until HK and MF were arrested in the Riau area.

“RW admits that it got goods from Dumai, Riau. (Satnarkoba Team) Then went to Dumai, suspecting a black Innova car. Then it followed as far as Pekanbaru, Riau", Sarly told reporters at the South Tangerang Police Station, Monday, October 31.

"One of the MF suspects got out of the car and brought 1 backpack, where the team arrested MF and HK suspect with evidence of 5 buses of Chinese tea or 5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine", he continued.

Not only that, when carrying out developments to the houses of suspects MF and HK in Simpang, Bukit Raya, Pekanbaru, and Riau, the police found 11 kilograms of Chinese tea packets containing crystal methamphetamine.

"A total of 11 packets of Chinese tea with the words "GUANYINWANG" contained methamphetamine with a weight of approximately 11 kg, which was acknowledged as belonging to the suspects MF and HK", he said.

The two suspects admitted to getting methamphetamine from suspect J. He is currently on the wanted list (DPO).

"This network is the result of information from those secured, namely Malaysia, Dumai, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, and Tangerang", he explained.

For their actions, the three perpetrators were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 sub 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with a minimum penalty of 6 years and a maximum of 20 years and a maximum of 1 billion rupiahs and 10 billion rupiahs.
