The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Is Expected To Immediately Realize The Exemption Of The Bantaran Kali Pesanggrahan
JAKARTA - Member of Commission D DPRD DKI Jakarta Hardiyanto Kenneth hopes that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will immediately realize the land acquisition along the Pesanggrahan River, including on Jalan Haji Briti, Kembangan Selatan, West Jakarta.
According to the member of the DKI DPRD Development Commission, in a statement in Jakarta, Saturday, October 29, every rainy season and the large number of water coming from upstream, the area is often flooded.
This caused residents to be wary because several houses were eventually damaged due to frequent overflowing water. "I hope that Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono can make this problem a priority program," he said, as reported by Antara.
Based on field checks, there are a lot of houses that are cracked and quite dangerous when floods hit the area. "The flood overflow will have an impact on the Puri red light intersection," said Kenneth. Currently, residents of Jalan Haji Briti, South Kembangan are still waiting for clarity from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government regarding land acquisition for the Pesanggrahan River normalization program. Although some time ago there has been socialization, but until now there has been no clarity. "According to residents' information, there is no clarity from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, previously socialization has been carried out regarding the replacement money for land acquisition, but there has been no follow-up to date," he said.
The public is also currently feeling restless and questioning the fate of those who have no clarity to this day.Kenneth explained that the route and location determination in the area were clear so that there was only or no serious willingness from the Water Resources Service (SDA) in executing it. "Residents who live on the banks of the river must be relocated immediately. Because the area is very dangerous to live in, plus the many foundations of residents' houses have been cracked and destroyed due to eroded water times," he said.
This is very risky, prone to landslides and can endanger lives. Meanwhile, to move from this location, local residents are constrained by costs. They don't have the money to move and start living in a new area later," said Kenneth.Kenneth said, residents hope that with the replacement money for land acquisition that deserves them can make them start a new life, there is no concern with the floods that often befall them.Kenneth reminded that if they wanted to execute the project must be completed and not half-heartedly. The fate of people being hanged is constantly and residents are left hanging around like this. "Therefore, I hope that the Acting Governor of DKI can understand this problem and can directly execute this program," he said.
He also hopes that the Acting Governor can check the problems in the Haji Briti area, South Kembangan, this is to see directly and can draw a valid conclusion. The chairman of IKAL PPRA LXII Lemhannas also suggested that if he wanted to carry out land acquisition, it is hoped that the route map will follow the river flow and be carried out with the right calculation.
This is because during the previous socialization, the trace map shown to residents was cut in a straight line. Residents are worried that many houses that should not have been relocated will be affected.
He hopes that if we can map the route for the Pesanggrahan River program in the Haji Briti area, South Kembangan, this can be changed to follow the river flow only.
"Don't cut it straight, because if you follow the base of the initial trace map, there is a prayer room that is far from the outskirts this time it will be affected by the relocation as well," he said.
Residents also had time to worry about this and told Kenneth. "I think there should be the right calculations," said Kenneth.
