Ganjar-Yenny Superior In The Polmatrix Survey, Defending Prabowo-Puan And Anies -AHY

JAKARTA - The results of the Polmatrix survey show Ganjar Pranowo's pair with Yenny Wahid excels in three pairs of simulations in general elections (elections). The pair defeated the Anies Baswedan-Andika Perkasa pair, as well as the Prabowo Subianto-Puan Maharani pair. NU factors are taken into account in choosing the vice presidential candidate, as evidenced from simulations of the highest Ganjar-Yenny pair, said Executive Director of the Indonesian Polmatrix, Dendik Rulianto, in the survey results received by Antara, in Jakarta, Saturday, October 29. In the simulation of three pairs, Ganjar-Yenny with electability reached 40.6 percent beating Anies-Andika (31.2 percent), and Prabowo-Puan (23.1 percent), the rest were not known/not answered 5.1 percent. Prabowo-Puan is supported by PDIP-Gerindra, while Anies-Andika by the NasDem axis, said Dendik explained. Supporting Ganjar is consistent with being high, although PDIP insists on carrying Puan. Ganjar represents nationalist voters, pairing with Yenny has the opportunity to significantly increase votes from Nahdliyin circles, said Dendik. In the simulation of three other pairs, Ganjar-Erick is superior (37.3 percent) to Prabowo-Khofifah (32.0 percent), and Puan-Anies (20,2 percent). Pairing with Erick, the level of support for Ganjar remains the highest,'' said Dendik. As with Yenny continuing moderate Islamic ideas, Khofifah is known as an NU female activist who is now the Governor of East Java.

The province of East Java is the basis of NU, and the large number of voters has become a land for political competition from the past, "said Dendik. In the simulation of four pairs, Anies-AHY is superior (26.6 percent) to Ganjar-Airlangga (25.8 percent), while the other pair are Puan-Andika (21.2 percent), and Prabowo-Muhaimin (18.8 percent). The Indonesian Polmatrix survey was conducted on 17-22 October 2022 to 2,000 respondents representing 34 provinces. The survey method is multistage random sampling (random graded) with a margin of error survey of approximately 2.2 percent and at a 95 percent confidence level.
