He said this was related to the realization of commodity exports which were the leading exports from NTT to Timor Leste.
processed food commodities dominated exports with a contribution of 34.09 percent (q-to-q) or US$6.5 million against export foreign exchange in the third quarter of 2022 which grew 38.06 percent.

He explained that export foreign exchange in NTT until the third quarter was recorded at 33.8 million US dollars or grew 22.9 million US dollars compared to the same period in 2021.

A number of efforts were made, such as assistance to bread companies in North Central Timor Regency, and the production of ornamental fish in Belu Regency.
Through assistance, he said, business actors are given education related to products that comply with export standards, licensing mechanisms, and so on.
"Through this assistance, we hope that small and medium enterprises in NTT can be triggered to increase production to develop businesses to the export market," he said.
