West Java Regional Police Ask Rizieq Shihab To Cooperate To Fulfill The Call Of The December 10 Crowd Case
BANDUNG - The West Java Regional Police are planning to question Rizieq Shihab on Thursday 10 December. Rizieq was summoned to be investigated in the case of a crowd in Megamendung, Bogor.
"We hope that anyone, when summoned by investigators to give testimony as a witness, we hope and appeal to cooperation and come," said Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago in Bandung, Monday, December 7.
The presence of Rizieq Shihab in the examination of the crowd health protocol case in Megamendung, Bogor, is said by the police to make the case for the case clear.
"If it comes, the person concerned can provide class information why this happened and so on," continued Kombes Erdi.
However, if Rizieq Shihab does not come to the West Java Regional Police, the police will prepare legal steps in accordance with the provisions for summoning witnesses in case examination.
"If you are not present, then there is a legal problem if you do not fulfill the summons. Based on the law, if you do not attend the summons more than two calls will be carried out by force," said Kombes Erdi.
"Today's or tomorrow's summons for the plan we will send a summons to the MRS. Later, it is possible that his place is in the West Java Police for examination," he continued.
Apart from Rizieq, the witness examination was also carried out by investigators on the organizer of the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Islamic boarding school in Megamendung, Bogor.
"For the crowd in Megamendung, tomorrow on the 8th (December) there will be an examination as a witness for the owner, then the organizers at the pesantren, that is on the 8th. We ask for information and it is done at the Police," said Erdi.
