Komarudin's Voice Vibrated Watubun When Reading Hard Warning For FX Rudy Who Supports Ganjar

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Honorary Council of the PDIP DPP Komarudin Watubun was emotional when he read out the decision to impose sanctions on the Chairman of the Solo City PDIP DPC FX Hadi Rudyatmo. His voice shook when delivering that his colleague was sanctioned with a stern and last warning.

"Because Mr. Rudy is a senior cadre, of course the sanctions must also be heavier. That's why we impose harsh warnings and finally on brother FX Rudyatmo," Komarudin said at a press conference at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, October 26.

He started his statement by calling FX Rudy a senior cadre and a friend of his fight. Komarudin also mentioned that the former mayor of Solo was a cadre who had joined when his party fought the authoritarian regime.

"The examination of Mr. Rudy is indeed a bit long because he is a senior cadre, and Mr. Rudy is a friend of arms," he said.

Even so, Komarudin could not be indiscriminate. He must show fair behavior for all disordered cadres on the mandate of the PDIP's IV Congress.

"In this position I have to be firm, I'm not indiscriminate, because you are a friend of my struggle, part of the history of the party," he said.

Hearing Komarudin's statement, FX Rudy nodded and made sure he was ready to carry out the party's decision. He also had time to respect when he received the decree.

In addition, FX Rudy also ensures that he will remain loyal to PDIP. As a senior cadre, he will respect the party's decision.

"In principle, as a senior party cadre, I have the principle of attitude and commitment to the Chairperson of the PDIP, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri," said Rudy.

"So with the sanctions given to me, I will receive harsh sanctions and finally I accept them with full responsibility," he added.

Furthermore, Rudy will also continue to struggle to win the PDIP and whoever the candidate will be determined by Megawati as the mandate holder.

"My task in the future is to fulfill the momentum of winning the legislative and presidential elections after what is decided by the General Chairperson who is mandated by the party congress," he said.

As previously reported, FX Rudy expressed his support for Ganjar if the PDIP cadre was appointed as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. He was even ready to accept the consequences of his political attitude.

For his statement, the PDIP DPP Honorary Council summoned FX Rudy. The reason is that this party bearing the bull symbol has prohibited all its cadres from providing support for certain names to run in the 2024 presidential election.

Apart from FX Rudy, PDIP also imposed similar sanctions on the Council of Colonels. This team was formed by the PDIP faction in the DPR RI to support the steps taken by the Chairman of the DPR RI, Puan Maharani, in the 2024 presidential election.

There are a number of names of PDIP cadres who were given the last stern warning for forming a Council of Colonels. They include members of Commission III DPR RI Trimedya Panjaitan to members of Commission XI DPR RI Masinton Pasaribu.
