Identification Of Parking Carcis Crossed Out, Gibran: Don't Pay, It's Definitely Deviations
Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka is committed to imposing sanctions on rogue parking attendants who are found to charge above normal rates.
"If someone is naughty, don't pay anyone," said Gibran in Surakarta, Central Java, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, October 26.
Gibran explained, if a driver finds a ticket sheet that says the tariff has been crossed out on purpose, so that the number does not appear, then it can be ascertained that it is an irresponsible parking attendant.
"I don't like those whose tickets are picked up like that. If something is like that, don't pay it, that's definitely a deviation," he said.
He also asked the Surakarta City Transportation Service to respond to these conditions. If possible, he asked the Surakarta City Transportation Agency to examine all parking attendants in the area carefully.
Gibran also asked the public not to be afraid to take photos of parking attendants who were proven to be cheating and detrimental to motorists.
"If it is disturbing, it must be revoked (the permit)," he added.
Previously, there were a number of complaints from the public through social media addressed to Gibran Rakabuming's official social media account.
In their complaint, residents admitted that they had to pay vehicle parking rates from the supposed rates, especially on days free from motorized vehicles or car free day.
Responding to the complaint, Gibran apologized and admitted that he had often given a warning regarding this matter. He also firmly asked residents not to pay parking rates that were not in accordance with the provisions.
