PLN Salurkan Voltage Pertama To SUTT 150 KV Bangkalan-Tx
PT PLN (Persero) has optimized electricity supply in East Java, especially the Madura region, by providing the first voltage on the Bangkalan-Tx 150 kiloVolt High Voltage Air Line (SUTT).
General Manager of PLN's East Java and Bali Development Main Unit (UIP JBTB), Muhammad Ramadhansyah said, the success of the provision of the first voltage of the Bangkalan-Tx 150 kV SUTT was intended to increase the reliability of electricity on Madura Island.
"This is a manifestation of PLN's seriousness in efforts to provide the best service to the community. This success is the result of the support of many parties including relevant stakeholders," Ramadhansyah said in an official statement, Tuesday, October 25.
Ramadhansyah assessed that the operation of the Bangkalan-Tx 150 kV SUTT would have a positive impact on increasing electricity reliability in East Java, especially Madura Island.
Transmission with a track length of 25.4 kilometers of circuits (kms) consisting of 35 towers, is currently connected to the 150 kV Ujung-Bangkalan-Kenjeran SUTT infrastructure. In the future, the 150 kV Bangkalan-Tx SUTT will be directly connected to the 150 kV Kewall-Tx Bangkalan High Voltage Cable Channel (SKTT) circuits 3 and 4 which are still planned to operate in 2023.
"With the operation of the 150 kV Bangkalan-Tx SUTT electricity transmission, Madura Island's power reserves are currently increasing by 150 MW," he said.
Ramadhansyah added that this infrastructure will be a series with the construction of SKTT 150 kV Kewall-Tx Bangkalan circuits 3 and 4 which are being carried out and are planned to operate in 2023.
"All efforts made by PLN are of course always coordinating with relevant stakeholders. We are also grateful for the support of various stakeholders involved, because through high synergy, these two infrastructures can operate on time," he concluded.
