Back To Being Superman, Henry Cavill: Thank You For Your Patience
Actor Henry Cavill said that he returned as Superman after appearing in a post-credit scene in the film Black Adam. Cavill said his cameo Black Adam and images of himself in the Superman suit included in the Instagram video were taken by Black producer Adam
"I want to wait until the weekend before uploading this because I want to give you all the opportunity to watch Black Adam," Cavill said in a video uploaded to his personal Instagram feed, reported by Variety, Tuesday, October 25.
"But now many of you have seen it, so I want to say officially that I am back as Superman," he continued.
But the 39-year-old did not provide further details about his involvement with the Superman costume. He thanked the fans for their enthusiastic response to the last son's return.
"Thank you for your support and thank you for your patience. It is something valuable," said Cavill.
Quoted from ANTARA, Cavill first played Superman since 10 years ago through Man of Steel in 2013. He was also present in several DC films such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, Justice League in 2017, Zack Snyder's Justice League in 2021 and cameo briefly at Black Adam.
For many fans, Cavill seems destined for that role, between his extraordinary beauty and his super physicality. But all his performances as Superman proved controversial for one reason or another.
Some fans love director Zack Snyder's physically strong, emotionally and morally ambiguous approach to character, while others think it is against what makes Superman one of the most lasting superhero characters ever.
Cavill always looks trapped in the middle. The actor seemed left behind when Warner Bros. chose to part ways with Snyder and his creative vision for the DC Universe, which puts Superman (Cavill) at its center.
However, the busy actor with The Witcher fantasy series and the Enola Holmes filmjakter Holmes, did not hesitate to express his desire to continue wearing Superman's tight pants and cloaks.
