Invite The Attorney General's Office To Monitor IKN Development, Ministry Of PUPR: To Work Fast And Right
The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) invited the Attorney General's Office to monitor the implementation of a number of development projects in the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, in East Kalimantan.
"The Ministry of PUPR has a lot of work with a busy schedule. All work is sought to be completed according to the target and must provide direct benefits to the community by paying attention to quality and aesthetics," said Inspector General of the Ministry of PUPR T. Iskandar in a statement quoted by Antara, Tuesday, October 25.
Iskandar said the success of infrastructure development by the Ministry of PUPR could not be separated from the support of related parties. The Ministry of PUPR responded positively to the good intentions of the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence on the commitments given to strategic development projects carried out by the Ministry of PUPR.
Coordination is carried out as a basis for working quickly and accurately in the context of securing strategic development related to PUPR infrastructure assistance and understanding infrastructure development processes and potential legal problems that arise in the field.
Meanwhile, Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence Amir Yanto conveyed directions to his staff to become partners with the Ministry of PUPR and assist the continuity of project work from the legal aspect.
"The Head of Balai can also directly communicate with the High Prosecutor's Office if there are legal problems or consult with the Inspectorate General so that it can be forwarded to the Directorate D of Strategic Development Security at the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia," said Amir.
According to him, this synergy activity was carried out as a commitment between the Ministry of PUPR and the Attorney General's Office in building state infrastructure, especially IKN Nusantara.
Previously, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono wanted to produce quality infrastructure works in the development of the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.
Currently, the Ministry of PUPR has started the construction of basic infrastructure to support the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) of IKN Nusantara, in East Kalimantan.
The infrastructure and basic facilities prepared include roads and bridges, drainage, raw water intake, as well as housing for workers and regional land preparation.
