Women With Voids Of Senpi Carriers Are Being Processed, The Kapolda Metro Jaya Appreciates Paspampres
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran appreciated the Paspampres and traffic members who took action against women carrying firearms who tried to break into the Presidential Palace without any casualties, quickly and measurably.
"We will explore objectively and professionally this incident. Currently, it is being handled in accordance with the SOP and we will continue to investigate it optimally. In essence, whoever violates the rules, we will act in accordance with applicable regulations," said Inspector General Fadil Imran to reporters, Tuesday, October 25.
The Kapolda ensured that Jakarta is currently still conducive and safe. He appealed to the public not to worry. Police officers will continue to be on standby to maintain security and public order.
"We have succeeded in preventing, the situation in Jakarta remains conducive," he said.
Until now, the perpetrator is still undergoing intensive examination at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters. Regarding the motive, the police have not been able to reveal the incident.
"(motives) are being investigated. PMJ has a regional task force to explore crimes that are close to terror, so the point is that the community should not worry. We are able to prevent it, I appreciate the Paspampres who work so well, they are measured swiftly without any casualties," he said.
Previously, it was reported that an unidentified woman broke into the Presidential Palace, on Jalan Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 25.
When secured, officers confiscated an FN-type weapon from a woman about 25 years old.
According to eyewitnesses, members of the Gatur Aiptu Hermawan Unit, the incident occurred at 07.00 WIB. The perpetrator was arrested while officers were guarding the vicinity of the President's palace.
He saw a woman walking from harmony heading to Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, to be precise at the entrance to the Palace and approaching a Paspamres member who was on standby. The perpetrator then pointed an FN type rifle.
