Donne Maula Releases To Be Human, The Side Of Mental Justice In Batin's Irreversity
JAKARTA - Donne Maula has released the latest solo work entitled Becoming Human. Being a Human is not a pop music work that is usually released by Donne, because this song not only addresses Donne's creative transition, usually explores the realm of soft pop music, but also the appreciation of his soul which is full of fragility.
With a duration of 3 minutes and 53 seconds, this song is packaged as a form of Donne's self-recognition which often harbors mental stress, anxiety, and inner anxiety. "Frankly, I'm still afraid to release this song "Becoming a Human," Donne said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 24.
Donne said this work is rooted in an event that occurred around 2011, in which his heart and soul were felt crushed and suspended. He admitted that unconsciously he had always harbored feelings of hurt so hard that it was difficult to see hope in his life.
Being a human, I is arranged with exciting but dark music. Donne understands that Indonesian music audiences will be surprised by this latest work, especially for those who expect romance songs such as Sejuk and Menghikahi Sampai Tua.
"You could say this reflects the turmoil and chaos that is in my head. Maybe this song can also be a mirror for everyone who is struggling against the same turmoil," said Donne.
Donne hopes to be a Human being able to break the stereotypes of Adam who seems to be forced to always be a steelmental pabrid. Being a human can be heard on all digital music platforms.
Donne Maula is a singer, songwriter and producer. He started his career as a soloist by "Interesting to the Old" in 2019.
Talenta Donne as a musician then reaped the trust to work on the best Indonesian works in this modern era, including Yura Yunita, Misellia, Tiara Effendy, and Rizky Febian.
Donne also just received an award for Best Pop Songwriter through Tutur Batin's work at the 2022 Indonesian Music Award.
