Ivar Jenner And Justin Hubner Inequitable With Shin Tae-yong

JAKARTA - Prospective naturalized players for the Indonesian national team Ivar Jenner and Justin Hubner admitted that they could not wait to be coached by Shin Tae-yong.

The two European League players visited the PSSI office on Monday, October 24. They came to discuss their naturalization process.

"We can't wait to train with coach Shin Tae-yong," the players said as quoted by the federation's official website.

Ivar and Justin will be naturalized to strengthen the U-20 age group national team. Both arrived in Indonesia on Sunday.

Saat ini Ivar yang merupakan pemain tengah, bermain untuk FC Utrecht U-21. Sementara itu, Justin yang bermain di klub Wolverhampton Wenderers di kelompok usia yang sama.

The plan is that tomorrow the two of them will undergo an interview with the State Intelligence Agency. Apart from wanting to quickly join the team, they also know a lot about Indonesian football.

"We have heard a lot and seen Indonesian football. Indonesia has a lot of supporters and militants," said the player.

Ivar himself has an Indonesian lineage from his father. His grandmother was born in Jember, East Java.

Justin also has Indonesian blood from his father who came from Jakarta. He was actually still defending the Dutch U-19 national team, but immediately offered to strengthen Indonesia.

If the naturalization process goes well, both of them have a bigger chance of strengthening Garuda Muda in the U-20 World Cup next year. The event will take place in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11.
