The Ministry Of Health Delivers Good News, There Are 38 Acupressure Patients!
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health reported that 38 of the total 245 patients with acute kidney disorders in Indonesia were declared cured after undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital.
"The number was recorded as of October 23, 2022, based on reports submitted to the Ministry of Health," said Head of the Communication and Public Service Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, in Jakarta, Monday, October 24, as reported by Antara.
According to Nadia, the patient's recovery rate was mostly reported from East Java. There were nine out of a total of 27 patients, five of whom were still being treated and 13 others died.
DKI Jakarta is in the second position with reports of six patients recovering out of a total of 55 cases. A total of 22 of them are still being treated and 27 have died.
Bali and Banten also reported four recovered patients each. South Sulawesi and West Sumatra each recovered three patients.
Recovered cases were also reported from Central Java, Yogyakarta, and West Java with one person each.
According to Nadia, the total number of patients currently being treated is 66 people with various symptoms of fever, loss of appetite, malaise, nausea, vomiting, acute respiratory infection (ARI), diarrhea, stomach pain, dehydration, and bleeding.
As many as 29 percent of reported patients, said Nadia, have reduced posthumous symptoms or urine volume.
The number of cases based on the age criteria is dominated by 1 to 5 years reaching 161 cases, 6 to 10 years as many as 35 cases, under 1 year 25 cases, and 11 to 18 years reaching 24 cases.
The Ministry of Health also reported that the number of patients who died from acute kidney disorders reached 141 cases, the most were in DKI Jakarta with 27 cases, Aceh 21 cases, West Java 18 cases, East Java 13 cases, West Sumatra and Bali with 10 cases each.
The death toll was also reported from West Sumatra with eight cases, Banten with seven cases, South Sulawesi with Central Java and South Kalimantan with three cases each.
Yogyakarta, Jambi, Riau Islands, West Nusa Tenggara, Southeast Sulawesi, East Nusa Tenggara, each had two cases. The rest came from North Sumatra, Papua, South Sumatra, North Bengkulu, and Central Kalimantan with one case each.
"A total of 245 cases of acute kidney disorders currently come from 26 provinces," he said.
