Former Barcelona Player Calls Everyone Somad With Cristiano Ronaldo

JAKARTA - Former Barcelona player Emmanuel Petit thinks everyone, both Manchester United fans and players, looks so fed up with Cristiano Ronaldo's behavior.

The Portugal international is expected to leave Manchester United in the transfer window next January. This possibility is getting stronger after recently his relationship with MU coach, Erik Ten Hag, has cooled.

The situation got even more complicated after he refused to play and left the game when Manchester United won over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday last week. This attitude made him dropped from the squad against Chelsea.

"Everyone is fed up with Ronaldo including fans and his own teammates, because he is destroying the team. They no longer want to be in the same dressing room as him," Petit said, reported by Football Espana.

"Yes, he had an extraordinary career, but his behavior was always very individualistic. He had to realize he was no longer the player he used to be, he lost his status, but he didn't accept that, because his ego was too big. There was no defense for that," Petit said.

Ronaldo, 37, has only appeared sporadically for United in recent months. In the Premier League competition he has only played twice and scored one goal.

The total player with the initials CR7 has just scored a record of two goals so far in all competitions. He scored another goal to help the Red Devils win 2-0 over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League last September.
