Visiting The Minister Of Transportation, Acting Governor Of DKI Heru Bahas Investor MRT To Park And Ride
JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono met with the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi to discuss the continuation of the construction of the transportation system in Jakarta.Minister of Transportation Budi said there were a number of projects discussed. One of them is the addition of potential investors for the construction of the MRT Jakarta phase 3 (east-west) route. During, the only foreign investor on the MRT project was Japan."The MRT is in phase one and stage two. Then what is encouraging is for MRT investors not only Japan, but already from Korea and from the United Kingdom (UK) UK," Budi said at the Ministry of Transportation office, Monday, October 24.Budi hopes that the determination of cooperation for these three investors will be carried out by a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the implementation of the G20 later.In addition, Budi and Heru also discussed the addition of points for providing public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) in public places. Heru said this would be done jointly with the private sector."There are several things that we can immediately execute, such as in Manggarai and Tanah Abang there will be additional SPKLU. In the future, maybe the local government or later together with the private sector in the permit there will be discussions. The latest discussion is that in every building there is a SPKLU place prepared," said Heru.Then, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will increase the number of park and ride locations.
