Rapper Lil Pump Becomes FLAVS 'Second International Artist
JAKARTA - There is new news from FLAVS. After announcing Stormzy as their first international line-up, the hip hop, soul, and R&B festival which will be held at Istora Senayan, April 4-5 2020 announced rapper Lil Pump into the second international line-up. This news was warmly welcomed by rap lovers who have been waiting for the 19-year-old rapper to come to Indonesia.
Lil Pump's popularity began after he released the track Gucci Gang in 2017. The music video, which has been watched more than 1 trillion, features a different style of rap from Lil Pump. At a young age, this rapper whose real name is Gazzy Garcia has also collaborated with senior rappers such as Kanye West, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and many more.
Lil Pump has released two full albums. The most recent is Harverd Dropout in 2019. His songs often enter the Billboard charts and are played on various occasions. One of them, Welcome to the Party, which was included in the soundtrack of the film Deadpool 2.
His musical style is what determines the hip hop style of today. His eccentric and energetic looks made the Miami-born rapper grabbing attention quickly. If you've ever heard the word Esskeeit, it's the words "Let's get it!" which Lil Pump slipped.
Through a written statement received by VOI, Tuesday, January 28, Yacko as Program Director of FLAVS 2020 said, “Pump may not be a lyrical genius, but the internet sensation soundcloud rapper has a catchy hook. Let's watch him (Lil Pump) put on a crazy performance. ”
