Minister Of Health Calls Drug Disease Disorders Acute Bring To Indonesia Today
Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin said 26 vials of the drug Fomepizole for the treatment of atypical progressive acute kidney disorders (attypical progressive acute childney injury) had been brought to the country today.
"Today, hand carried, taken by plane, someone took it," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin in the context of National Osteoporosis Day in Jakarta, quoted by ANtara, Sunday.
The Minister of Health said Indonesia received 10 vials of the drug Fomepizole from Singapore and 16 from Australia which will be brought directly today from the two countries.
He said the drugs that helped the recovery of patients with acute kidney disorders were rare drugs. He also appreciated and was grateful for the help of Singapore and Australia.
"This drug is still rare, yes, we can be helped. I called the health minister Singapore and Australia and was immediately given it," said Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.
Previously, the Ministry of Health announced that 200 vials of injection Simepizole drugs were imported into Indonesia to restore the health of 69 atypical progressive acute kidney disorders patients.
In a press conference in Jakarta, Friday (21/10), Minister of Health Budi said he had ordered 200 vials of injection intended for one patient per vial, with an injection dose of 1.5 grams or 1.5 ml.
The drug had previously been tested on 10 patients who were being treated at the Jakarta RSCM. The Fomepizole reaction triggered an improvement in the patient's symptoms and some were stable.
