OTT Bansos COVID-19, 6 People Secured In Jakarta And Bandung
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron said that there were six people who were arrested during an arrest operation (OTT) related to the implementation of social assistance (Bansos). One of them has the initials J and several private parties.
"(Those arrested) J and several people from the private sector. A total of 6 people," Ghufron told reporters, Saturday, December 5.
But Ghufron did not clearly explain whether J was an official of the Ministry of Social Affairs. So far, only six people have been arrested in different locations.
"(Arrest) Jakarta and Bandung," he said.
Previously, Ghufron said that in the hand-catching operation (OTT) related to the implementation of social assistance (Bansos), several were secured. Currently, they are still in an intensive inspection process.
"The KPK has secured several people who are suspected of being Ministry of Social Affairs officials related to corruption," said Ghufron.
Meanwhile, KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri confirmed the hand arrest operation (OTT) against officials of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). This action was carried out on Friday, December 4 from 23.00 WIB to 02.00 WIB.
"Yes, the alleged PPK corruption has received gifts from the social assistance PBJ venndors at the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs in handling the COVID-19 pandemic," he said.
