Adhi Karya Ready To Complete Two Sections Of The Banda Aceh Toll Road In December This Year

PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk or ADHI as a construction BUMN is ready to complete two sections of the Sigli - Banda Aceh Toll Road in December this year.

"ADHI as the contractor implementing the Sigli - Banda Aceh toll road is committed to completing these two sections at the end of December with the best quality," said Director of Operations I ADHI Suko Widigdo in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Friday, October 21.

The two toll road sections that will be completed, he said, are Section 5 of the 7.3 km long Blang Bintang - Kutobaro with construction progress of 91.4 percent and Section 6 of Kutobaru - Simpang Baitussalam with a construction progress of 5.01 km with 82.4 percent.

The land acquisition process from the two sections is close to 100 percent, so both sections are targeted for completion by the end of 2022.

For ADHI, the plan means that they have completed five sections of a total of six road sections. Previously, the total contract value of the Sigli - Banda Aceh Toll Road was IDR 8.2 trillion and so far ADHI has received payments of IDR 5.7 trillion.

Along with the completion of the two sections, it is planned that ADHI will receive back the progress payment by the end of 2022.

The readiness to complete the Sigli - Banda Aceh Toll Road has been conveyed to the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono. The Minister of PUPR reminded to maintain environmental sustainability in the construction of the Sigli - Banda Aceh Toll Road.

The existing cliffs are immediately greened again, replanted. If not needed, don't cut down existing trees, so that natural conditions are not disturbed. ADHI must be able to maintain environmental sustainability," said Basuki.

The construction of the Sigli Banda Aceh (Sibanceh) Toll Road is one of the main sections (backbone) of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road which is a National Strategic Project (PSN) to encourage economic growth and equity in Aceh Province.
