OTT Officials Of The Ministry Of Social Affairs, KPK: Related To Bansos COVID-19

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted a hand arrest operation (OTT) against officials of the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). This arrest was related to the alleged social assistance program (bansos).

"Yes, the alleged PPK corruption has received gifts from the social assistance PBJ venndors at the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in handling the COVID-19 pandemic," said KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri in his statement, Saturday, December 5.

Firli said, the OTT for Ministry of Social Affairs officials was carried out on Friday, December 4 from 23.00 to 02.00 WIB. But there was no further explanation regarding the case.

It is only conveyed, if the alleged perpetrators have been brought to the KPK building for intensive examination. Later, all examination results will be submitted through an official statement.

"The suspects have already been taken to the Red and White building for examination. Please give us time to work first, later when the KPK will provide an explanation," he said.
